Connect Wallet

Here is a guide to connecting your wallet on different chains. The next few pages will guide you through setting up and using the BIT10 testnet.

Note: On the testnet, you can currently buy the Test BIT10 token and transfer it between individuals. However, you cannot swap it for another crypto token.

ICP

For the BIT10 Testnet, we will use the Internet Computer blockchain.

  1. Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

  1. Select the Internet Computer.

  1. Select Plug wallet.

We are using the Plug wallet as our primary wallet for the testnet. You can install the Plug wallet extension in your browser by visiting plugwallet.ooo.

Setting Up Plug Wallet

After installing the Plug wallet extension, open it. Here are some key terms:

  1. Principal ID: This is your unique wallet identifier generated for each wallet.
  2. Account ID: This is derived from the Principal ID and is used in the ICP and NFT registries to identify the owners of ICP and NFTs.
  3. Manage: Click this button to select the tokens you want to display in your wallet.

Obtaining BIT10.BTC Tokens

You can visit testnet.bit10.app/faucet to request BIT10.BTC tokens. Users need to enter their email and the Principal ID of their wallet. BIT10.BTC is a test token with the same value as testnet BTC.

Adding Tokens to Display in Your Wallet

After recieving BIT10 tokens if these token are not visible on your wallet then follow these steps:

  1. Open your Plug wallet and click on the Manage button.

  1. Click on the Add Token icon at the top right of the wallet.

  1. Enter the following details for the tokens:
    1. BIT10.BTC
      • Cainster ID: eegan-kqaaa-aaaap-qhmgq-cai
      • Select Standard: ICRC-1
    2. Test BIT10.TOP
      • Cainster ID: wbckh-zqaaa-aaaap-qpuza-cai
      • Select Standard: ICRC-1
    3. Test BIT10.MEME
      • Cainster ID: yeoei-eiaaa-aaaap-qpvzq-cai
      • Select Standard: ICRC-1

  1. Enable the button to show the custom token.

Solana Devent

For the BIT10 Testnet, we will use the Solana Devnet to connect to the Solana blockchain.

  1. Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

  1. Select the Solana Devnet.

  1. Connect your preferred wallet, or download a wallet that supports Solana.

Obtaining Testnet Tokens

You can visit public faucets such as faucet.solana.com or faucet.circle.com to get tokens on the Solana Devnet.

Ethereum Sepolia

For the BIT10 Testnet, we will use the Ethereum Sepolia to connect to the Ethereum blockchain.

  1. Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

  1. Select the Ethereum Sepolia.

  1. Connect your preferred wallet, or download a wallet that supports Ethereum.

Obtaining Testnet Tokens

You can visit public faucets such as testnet.bit10.app/faucet or faucet.circle.com to get tokens on Ethereum Sepolia

Adding Tokens to Display in Your Wallet

After receiving tokens on Ethereum Sepolia, if the tokens are not visible in your wallet, follow these steps:

  1. Open your wallet and go to chainlist.org/chain/11155111 to add Ethereum Sepolia to your wallet.
  2. Depending on your wallet, select Import Tokens.

  1. Choose Sepolia as the chain, and for the token contract address, refer to Contract Addresses.

Binance Smart Chain Testnet

For the BIT10 Testnet, we will use the Binance Smart Chain Testnet to connect to the Binance Smart Chain blockchain.

  1. Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

  1. Select the Binance Smart Chain Testnet.

  1. Connect to your MetaMask wallet. Support for other wallets will be added soon.

Obtaining Testnet Tokens

You can visit public faucets such as bnbchain.org/en/testnet-faucet to get tokens on Binance Smart Chain Testnet.

Adding Tokens to Display in Your Wallet

After receiving tokens on Binance Smart Chain Testnet, if the tokens are not visible in your wallet, follow these steps:

  1. Open your wallet and go to chainlist.org/chain/97 to add Binance Smart Chain Testnet to your wallet.
  2. Depending on your wallet, select Import Tokens.

  1. Choose BNB Smart Chain Testnet as the chain, and for the token contract address, refer to Contract Addresses.

Email Wallet

For the BIT10 Testnet, you can generate a Solana Devnet wallet by logging in or signing up with your email.

Note: The email wallet is recommended only for users who are new to crypto.
  1. Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

  1. Select the Connect with Email.

  1. Enter your email and then input the code sent to your inbox to confirm.

Obtaining Testnet Tokens

Navigate to the Email Wallet tab and copy your generated Solana Devnet address. You can visit public faucets such as faucet.solana.com or faucet.circle.com to get tokens on the Solana Devnet.
